The centre gives international students, their families and/or friends access to a convenient, culturally and linguistically appropriate, service oriented, one-stop-shop International Education, offering such services as:

• providing information, in accordance with AVCC Code of Ethics

• giving "native" language study pathway counselling - direct & through Internet/fax/phone

• providing one-stop-shop placement and enrolment services (as above)

• providing, or assisting students to access other providers of support services such as:

  • accommodation placement & airport pick-up and transfers

  • general orientation

  • guardianship

  • assistance with visa renewal

  • arranging Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)

  • personal counselling - culturally appropriate

• bi-lingual communication between parents, schools, homestay and the students.
