Choosing the Right Institution

We are often asked by international students and their parents, "Which is the best university in Australia for ...?". There are many opinions - often conflicting - as to which university is the leading one in any particular area, it is really not so simple. If you want we can refer you to some of these ratings of universities. However, we say, the best university, or school or college, is the one that suits you best.

When you are trying to decide where to study, our counselors will urge you to consider a number of factors, which through our long experience in counseling and placing international students we have found are critical in determining a student's success. We will guide you through this process. You should consider:

  • Your academic background
  • Your age
  • Your English language proficiency
  • Where you have friends or relatives in Australia
  • Where the program you want to enter is offered
